a writer and filmmaker, with a fondness for f-words like foodie, feminism and family. my background in media started with 16mm black and white student films in a land far away, fondly referred to as San Francisco in the early 90’s. From there I spent the next decade happily paying my dues as the right-hand to New York Times best-selling author Terry McMillan.

Catapulted into Silicon Valley by dot-com boom 2.0, I've has been lending my skills as a storyteller to agencies and the brands that love them, like Google, Apple and most recently the Anita Borg Institute. An avid traveler, blogger (It’s Wonderful Being A Girl) and single mama, I believe that #RepresentationMatters. With a TV show, Hens in the Hood, in development, I am thrilled to be able to use my power for good. My priority remains working on projects that bring women’s stories to the forefront.
